Biography
The Secret Ink are a an ethereal chamber pop band from New Haven, CT.
The group features female vocals, cello, violin, guitar, ebow,
bass, and drums all of which appear in the live setting.
The Secret Ink have combine passages of Bartok's concerto for orchestra with British Shoe-gaze pop. They also have recorded contemporary classical pieces
for violin and ebow which have appeared in adverts.
Their debut was released in 2006 and is available via Darla records and Rough Trade Shops in the U.K.
They have been compared to Belle and Sebastian, the Velvet Undergroud, Bach, the Smiths, Clogs, and Mono.
