Whether the band tries to pass this song off as a joke or not, this is The Offspring trying to recapture the cross-over success of Pretty Fly (For a White Guy). It's a terrible song, full of cliches and transparent pop tricks aimed straight for commercial radio airplay.
IDGAF what Dexter thought the album needed more or less of, this song is shit terrible. If it was too "heavy and...serious", write songs like "Don't Pick It Up" or "Why Don't You Get A Job?" instead of this garbage.
First I hated this track but now I can't stop listening to it, so groovy and funny. I admit I hated their last album too, but with this album these guys surprised me because I didn't expect they would do a party song like that (and the rest of the album is amazing too.)
