Let's represent the REAL Bleach, the Christian Rock band from Nashville, TN and vote up the new pics of their last.fm page! I'm tired of seeing the Japanese "bleach" band with the main picture for "Bleach" on last.fm! If you have a last.fm login, go to http://www.last.fm/music/Bleach and vote up the pics of the REAL Bleach! Thanks guys! It'll give me a super good feeling! the Supertones, Five Iron Frenzy AND Bleach are ALIVE!! It's a glorious day!!!
it was announced on their FB page that they are working on a new album. yes, finally it's about time! the big three [tag]Christian[/tag] [tag]ska[/tag] bands - the mighty Tones, [artist]five iron frenzy[/artist] and [artist]the insyderz[/artist] - are all back together and at work on new records! this is what i call good news!
These guys would have been HUGE if they had not been a christian band. Their vocals are cleaner than some mainstream peers, and musicianship was just as solid. But tehre are things more important than sucess and money :)

you can see their singer with the band Octoberlight ;) that makes Octoberlight & Mojo (or Mojo & Octoberlight as Mojo himself would say) =D they perform a lot of Supertones songs, and I saw them live =D (Octoberlight is a real good band, but their vocals did suck shit, till Mojo joined em xD)
Why was this recommended while i was listening to Spoken.. :S Oh, well.. way out of my region of music, but I'll be a nice boy since they Jesus Lovers. You guys really need to get back together. Jesus forever~!
while in activity were Supertones paradigm not only in Christian music, but music across the world. Not as not talking about ska without talking about The OC Supertones. They were divine breath in my life and today they are. Thanks!
I grew up traveling while my dad preached at different churches every summer (he was an evangelist), so obviously I grew up listening to Christian rock. Among the bands that I listened to were all the basics like dc Talk, Audio Adrenaline, early Newsboys, Skypark, Hokus Pick, and of course the Supertones. After a while I "grew out" of Christian music. But still to this day I love the track "So Great a Salvation" (especially the live version), "Resolution," and "Little Man." Pretty much any track off Supertones Strike Back. Incredible record.
I agree, seriously, Away From You? How is Wilderness not at the top of that list? And why are Supertones Strike Back and So Great a Salvation not higher up? Maybe that's why the Supertones were never as popular as I think they should have been, people just didn't appreciate their mind blowingly amazing songs as much as they needed to. Great band anyway, all their CDs are packed full of great songs
OMG... I first saw The Supertones back at TOM Fest in '95. They are the nicest guys ever, and I had a blast hanging out with them. So sad to see they broke up, but will always be one of my favorite bands! <3 Moe
