Biography
Hailing from the Wauchula FL area, this quartet comes to us with a vengeance. This talented bunch of guys came together through mutual friends, initially jamming on cover tunes, only later to realize they had a desire to create something all their own.
It all started with friends Clif Lunn (guitar) and Kyle Pace (drums) playing songs from their favorite bands such as System of A Down, Sepultra, Mudvayne and The Deftones. The two were eventually joined by Marshall Gibson, who originally assumed the vocal/front man role but soon after made the transition to Bass Guitar.
Since the trio was without a voice, it was chance that they happened upon Chad Carr who was found while performing with another band. After acquiring Chad things quickly started taking shape. The band has now been together for about a year and has quickly become a recognizable name in the greater Tampa Bay area.
Their first full length, self-titled CD was recorded in December of 2002 at Diet of Worms Studios, and the overall verdict has been a very positive one.
"Crawling out from the Wauchula/Sebring area, they are attacking the Tampa Bay area… As a band these guys are phenomenal, even though they are young pups, they sound of musicians a decade their elder. I insist you see these dudes live and get a copy of this CD." - Jack Rudzinski, Rivot Rag Magazine, JAN 2003
Soon to embark on a tour of the entire state of Florida, it won't be long before music fans around the nation get sucked into The Lazarus Machine.
