THE HOMEWRECKERS are a queer-core / pop-punk outfit from the salty depths of Brooklyn, NY. They have many feelings and always an excuse to harmonize. Influenced by early 90s east bay punk and broadway musicals, The Homewreckers find a comforting home among graveling vocals, gang vocals, catchy melodies, and anger. They sing about lost love, cultural identity, imperialism getting in the way of cultural identity, Gentrification getting in the way of the perfect date, Cuba, cops, gender, manic depression, manic salvation, sexual repression, one night stands, reclaiming our sex organs in the name of this so-called "feminism" which is supposed to exist in "punk rock", and the well saught-after act of fucking shit up. THE HOMEWRECKERS Live and die in Brooklyn NY.
As you may have seen, there is other bands called THE HOMEWRECKERS. Thats fine! But we are not them. We are a punk rock band. Like… some of these songs are not even ours. "Uncontrolable Decay" is ours…. "One Shot" is not. We arent really sure how to fix that. So do yourself a favor and get our 7" via noidearecords.com ….PUNX NOT DEAD Its just via mailorder.
