The He-Shes are a Johannesburg-based rock band formed in August 2006 by Nick Wilson (vocals), Charles Tanton (guitar), Kevin O'Grady (drums) and Richard Pfisterer (bass). Since then the band – influenced by 60s garage, 70s punk and modern alternative rock – has grown in stature in the Johannesburg underground rock scene and developed a cult following.
