i think its fair to say they had a bit of a rough decade after Embryonic, but American Head hopefully marks a new chapter for these guys because hot damn is it amazing.

Is American Head better than a French kiss? I think so.

I like that they have brought guitars and piano back to the forefront in these new songs. I still prefer Oczy Mlody + The Terror + Embryonic but it's a million times better than King's Mouth

Really excited for the new album. Honestly, I've been digging everything they've done outside of Ozcy. That record just doesn't hold up on repeat listens, but I'm liking the more subdued approach they're taking on this new one.

Welcome back guys! King's Mouth is a return to form (for me).

King’s Mouth is reminiscent of Yoshimi era Lips on some tracks!

One of the only long-running bands whose best albums are spread evenly throughout the years. My favorites are In A Priest Driven Ambulance, Soft Bulletin, Embryonic, Zaireeka, and The Terror, plus they've done amazing stuff in between like Oh My Gawd, Clouds Taste Metallic, Yoshimi, 7 Skies H3, all those collab EPs, etc.

King's Mouth is super enjoyable and the world it creates. They are at their most playful and cinematic with this one.

Flaming Lips were my favorite band from 2011 to about 2015. Does anybody else think they have significantly declined in quality over the years?
