Dillinger completely changed the way I absorbed music now whenever I hear a song that doesn't absolutely violate music theory it feels off lol

I used to hate this band so much in high school except for 43% Burnt, but I've definitely come around recently they're actually pretty good. 43% Burnt is still the best song tho imo lol

Calc ∞ is my favorite by 10000000 miles and I never listen to the Greg albums. Irony is a Dead Scene is a close 2nd fave. Miss Machine is fine, but they totally lost me after that. Also Greg is a decent yeller but a horrrrrible singer. Dude couldn't carry a mouth tune to save his life.

how's that death grips meme go about "i shit in the fuck" and 10 cymbals crashing at one? never though it to be accurate (as in the low bar of accurate enough to be a good meme) , but if you replace crashing cymbals with spazzy guitars it actually perfectly describes a good quarter or more of this band's song's intros

Dang. I did not see this coming. I feel sort of bad about whatever strain there is between Greg &Ben. I don't think DEP ever topped Calculating Infinity and I'd love to see them with Dimitri. Just doesn't feel entirely right after claiming it's being hung up and never to come back in any capacity
