“The Canadian Dispatch, is a five-piece band from Calgary and Halifax. Largely inspired by Japanese noise rock of the late 90’s to early oughts mixed with inspirations from dance punk and 2010’s Indie Rock. The group blends these inspirations into a melodic yet brusque explosion of Trashy Art Punk, fueled with fast BPMS and fused with almost indistinguishable moody lyrics. They are not afraid to take risks, creating ambitious yet rewarding songs complimenting the DIY nature of the band, pushing the idea of the “yeah we can do that” mentality.”
