I disagree, the title track and its reprise are among my favourites on the album! Good Morning is definitely the least interesting song on the album, but it's not that bad really - Ringo kills it on the drums!
One of the greatest albums of all-time, though no my favorite Beatles album - that would be Revolver. No matter how innovative this album is, none of these songs can compare to the awesomeness that is "Tomorrow Never Knows", although "Within You, Without You" and "A Day in the Life" come close. "Lucy" ain't too shabby either, by the way.
I still feel this album is very over-rated for what it is. It is often cited as one of the best albums of all time but it is not even my favourite beatles record, never mind favourite album ever. Abbey Road, White Album, Rubber Soul and Revolver are all stronger albums from the beatles.
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is one or my favourite Beatles album & Abbey Road but I love all their songs & I mean all of them. The White Album is great also which I have it in mint condition & I still have some their 45's. The genius mixing came from Sir George Martin who's the sixth Beatle in my book.
Um, no. Yeah, this album is considering the greatest ever by many sources. It's not for me to say whether it is or isn't and I'm sure no one else gives a shit, but it's still bloody amazing. The confidence with which these songs are knocked out is very impressive.
Not the greatest album ever. Not even the best Beatles album. Revolver and Rubber Soul are both better. Don't understand the hype with this album. And I'm a bigger psychedelic rock fan than I am folk rock. Rubber Soul and Revolver are much better listens.
