Tate Maris is a solo artist out of Denver, CO, first performing lead vocals in many local Denver bands in 2006, which over the years progressed into a more focused, mature sound as a solo artist with the original moniker "The Snow Shore". As "The Snow Shore", Tate Maris worked with local producer and studio engineer Nick Nodurft from Rusty Sun Audio to release his first solo record entitled, 'This Is The End, My Beautiful Friend' in 2009. The debut release was distributed free of charge on various music promotion and distribution websites, with the intent set on getting as many people to hear the music as possible. Shortly after the debut release, the moniker was dropped and the solo career of Tate Maris continued on. Online distribution of 'This Is The End' continued to press on, but remained a difficult task when dealing with large gaps of separation from the local Colorado scene when Maris attended The University Of North Dakota. In the summer of 2011, Maris once again returned to Rusty Sun Audio to begin a two week stretch of long days and nights, tracking his follow up release. The second record features seven new tracks and three re-recorded tracks from the debut record, a bonus cover track can also be found on various media outlets on the internet. With the real beginning of his solo artist career taking form, Tate Maris is finally setting the stage to take the world by storm. His second solo record, 'Like Giants', was released on iTunes on April 27th, 2012.
