[Metal] If you want to hear Algy Ward's anger about the former members using his band name, listen to "Breath of the Pit". The funny thing is, both Tanks have released a major-label album: the metal band's 80's albums are with Universal/Roadrunner, while Tank the R&B singer is with Atlantic.
I only responded that way as the woman who has now deleted her comment was calling people who listen to real TANK "white trash" and other stereotypes like that. I was only responding back to her comment, guess some people only see racism as a one way streak.
No offense to the black fellow at all, but the guy should alter his name.
Like change the spelling to Tanq or something. That way you don't have elitist punk-asses whining about a black man who calls himself Tank (while possibly throwing in some racial epitaphs for needless flavoring) and more respectful individuals like me confused by the sudden existence of an R&B singer that calls himself Tank.
I will never understand how fucking stupid people can be to take the name of a band/artist that was already established for many many many many many years before them. If a band named "Tank" has been running for 20 years already, don't take their fucking name!
Since when popularity meant that automatically it's better? Also let me know what you know from the nwobhm or heavy metal genre in general? Judging by you writings, I assume you are the expert here. So please, tell me more? Can you actually tell us something about the music itself instead of offensive language assault towards the heavy metal Tank listeners? Nothing I guess? Nice arguments son. Go listen to you shit-tier Tank somewhere else.
That's why the top albums are all Tank the R&B singer, right? LOL. Don't speak on R&B because you have no clue what you're talking about. No one gives a damn about that band besides some frail long haired antisocial Scandinavian nerds, give me a break.
v "shitty outdated metal in 2016" Excuse me but what? Do you even actually realize that you're comparing a legendary, one of the most innovating and starting powers (in it's own genre) artist to a some generic, unoriginal and nothing of value shit-tier R&B singer? Please. This Durrell Babbs dude was hardly born when the TANK that matters the most was already making history.
