Spirit of Eden is the fourth album by the English New wave band Talk Talk, released in 1988 on Parlophone records. The album found neither critical acclaim nor commercial success on release but has since become a cult favourite. Talk Talk are commonly known for their early synthpop/New Wave singles, but are also considered forerunners in the post-rock genre for their later experimental albums.
