This artist is a band from the Provo, Utah 1990’s Ska era named the following throughout their career:
Stretch
Stretsch Armstronng
Stretch Magnifico
Stretch Armstrong UT
Formed by Scott Van Wagenen and others.
The band split up to pursue other interests in 1997 such as the then emerging bands such as Moxie Tonic, Two And A Half White Guys, among others.
Scott Van Wagenen, Mike South, Sterling Acomb formed part of The Moxie Tonic Medicine Show (also called just Moxie Tonic). Darren Hutchison went on to several different bands, most currently in the Utah County Swillers. Dan Nelson also formed part of the still strong and performing band Two and a Half White Guys.
Since 1997 they have reformed in 2002 for a one night only Utah County Skalloween show and most recently again in the fall of 2008 to perform at the UVSC Ballroom just after Halloween in Orem, Utah to promote a musical history documentary movie for a local filmmaker in Utah called http://TheUpbeatMovie.com which featured footage from the band during the era.
