The only real real Soundgagaden is with Deep Throat Sixsixsix, Aaron Paul Screaming Life, Ultralordmegadeth OK, Louder than Courtney Love, Seinfeld: Man Hands All Over, Badmotörheadgoldfinger, Superwellknown and Down Under on the Upside. King Buzzo Animal are barely sounds I want to listen to or a garden I'd like to cultivate.

Unfortunately, Soundgarden only sold about 25 million records worldwide. Half of those being in the United States. While this may be A FUCK TON of records, it’s not as much as Nirvana which sold upwards of 70 million. I am very disappointed to see Soundgarden not get the attention they deserved, each member was at the pinnacle of their craft. They were a band that was supposed to sell 100 million records and beyond. There you go.

Tbh I don't think Soundgarden and Nirvana were that similar anyway. Sure, both belonged to the grunge movement but that was more of a scene and area from which a collective of bands came from, rather than a specific musical style. None of grunge's biggest bands even sound that much alike, which I think speaks for itself. Nirvana wasn't as heavy and they had catchy radio hooks. They were commercially more accessible, appealed to a wider audience and thus sold more records. The real crime, I think, is people throwing all those different Seattle bands into one lump category. I'm sure a lot of people, such as metalheads, who would've loved Soundgarden and Alice in Chains just thought of them as another Nirvana or Pearl Jam. And don't forget obscure bands like Skin Yard, Tad, Gruntruck and My Sister's Machine. Now those bands definitely didn't get their fair dues.
