Sound and the Urgency is a Portlandic indie-rock/folktronic solo project of songwriter Brian Senesac. The name is not a Faulkner reference. In fact, Brian has never read the book.
The first, self-titled, record is an amalgamation of several influences, from Scott Walker to Boards of Canada.
