Fuck yeah! Drummers need to study the drum sound on Progression and Automation, and get over this papery-thuddy marching band snare sound that is currently popular (which is the sound that brand new musicians who haven't yet learned to tune get--and now people are doing it deliberately).
Touring? new album! These are a band that could come back and make another classic, as they're not worried about keeping up with hard/metalcore trends and can just go off and make some genius shit like End Transmission was.
Here's a demo of what's going to be the EP of Confesional, hardcore band from Chile in the line of Outspoken, Shield, Separation, Drift Apart. http://confesional.bandcamp.com // http://facebook.com/confesionalhc
Show with the Dropkick Murphys, eh? Well, it's good to see them finally rising to their level. I always thought they were wasting their time playing with these talentless hardcore bands, they deserve to play alongside some good Irish ROCK N' ROLL
It is? Well, gosh, I can't tell you what a relief that is. Finally, I can unshoulder this aching burden, and let somebody else take up the thankless task of commanding the right and forbidding the wrong for the good people of Last.fm.
Progression through Unlearning is really great record, one the best ever - just listening it once again and again and... - and the top moment of it is at 02.33-02.45 in Harrison Bergeson, just amazing drumming etc. woaah!! ;-)
I can only talk in superlatives about this band, after fifteen years I wanna see them again LIVE, everything this band makes sounds so SINCERE and I'm not even talking about the vocals! I JUST LOVE BELIEVE/REVOLT FUCKING JUNGLECORE, NOW THIS IS THE SHIT I'M WAITING FOR, if anybody can recommend me bands doing this kind of stuff I will digitally hug you! I Love Drum n bass and Jungle! so combined with HC this makes me go apeshit! as my son would say; "totdat plafond breekt Papa?"
Wow, fifteen years after discovering lookingglasself I finally discovered Progression trough unlearning, I'm stunned, this is so amazingly good, can't believe they're back together and I missed out on them...... I want them in Belgium again but this time in an inside venue not outdoors, I want to really feel the intimacy of this sincere band playing.
Long time since I was completely hooked on an LP from the first listen!!!!
