Skinny Lister formed in Greenwich, London in 2010 and have been on tour ever since. Having supported folks such as Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls, Dropkick Murphy’s, Flogging Molly, Boy George, Chuck Ragan and more, the band have also been headlining regularly in their own right and are selling out venues across the globe.
A favourite on the Festival scene worldwide, Skinny Lister have played main and major stages at the likes of Glastonbury, Coachella, Fuji Rock, Bestival, Bonnaroo, Warped Tour, Asigiri Jam, Greenfield, Hurricane, Southside, Isle Of Wight, Reading/Leeds, Latitude, Wilderness, Kendall Calling, Shambala and many many more.
Leaping drunk in Hamburg, locked in a bunker in Berlin, tearing up the road from New York to Tokyo via everywhere in between, the non stop world of folk punk heroes Skinny Lister is broadening by the record. If their folk debut celebrated the sticks and their punkier second blinked in the bright lights of London, rocked-up third album, The Devil, The Heart & The Fight, has seen them go global.
Reviews of The Devil, The Heart & The Fight:
“…considerably upped their game.” 4/5 Q Magazine album review
“…a deafening and visceral experience.” 5/5 The Independent live review from London Garage.
Noisey - “Skinny Lister knows how to have a good time. Throughout their performances, there are various Celtic references, acoustic instrumentation and a ton of fun. It’s a kind of show where you need to hold onto your bootstraps.”
