@Jerppa It could just be your copy of the album, I've never had any problems hearing the female vocals on ASAS. God I love this album, if it was physically possibly to make love to an album it would have to be with this!
I don't know if that was directed at me or not but oh well: I never said she's not a good singer. I'm sure her voice is beautiful and unique. It does sound that way. Would just be nice to hear it properly.
Each time I listen to this (although it's only my third time at the moment) I get a bit more into it. Guess I'll eventually love it. My biggest problem is not even that there are so little female vocals compared to the new records but that the female vocals are so weak and you can just barely hear them. Guess that was the intention but it just sounds annoying to me.
I am not a fan of death metal in the least, not my style, this album and Fear Factory's first album are simply amazing though and tip toe the line of death metal and other genres. The first four songs on this album just blow my mind. I am one of those that also loves The 13th Floor but the not the two in between so much (or I just need to listen to them more to decide). Either way this band has welcomed another hardcore fan!
@federovic. Hey, I respect opinions openly and easily enough. My opinion? Never realy like Theatre. All dirge, no charge to the music. Tristania is good, but i'll take At Sixes and Sevens, AEFE or 13th floor over anything Tristania any day of the week.
