‘Paper Thin’, the new single from the forthcoming album by Simon Lynge, is out world-wide on 9th November via Integrity Records/Songcrafter Music.
‘Deep Snow’, the fourth album by the Greenlandic-Scandinavian singer-songwriter, will be released two weeks later on 23rd November.
Earlier this year, Simon and long-time friend and musical collaborator Richard Lobb isolated themselves in a secluded house owned by a travelling circus clown in the green hills of Trallong, Wales, to record the new album, later to be caressed to completion in the eclectic atmosphere of Narcissus Studios in London.
Growing up in a sparsely-populated Greenland village and later enduring some harsh Danish winters have informed both Simon’s philosophy and his song-writing:
“When the darkness of winter and the world wears the spirit out, Paper Thin comes from that place of stress and rumination. It's a slow moving molasses state of emotional fiction, where dreams seem
completely out of reach. But we can help each other, we can hold each other … gently.”
