Paul Simon and Arthur Garfunkel, known to the public as Simon and Garfunkel, were a highly popular singer-songwriter/pop duo during the 1960's. They're famous for having written songs like Brigde Over Trouble Water, Sound of Silence, Mrs. Robinson and America. They split up in 1964, reunited in 1965, and then split again in 1970.
