Sia Kate Isobelle Furler is an Australian singer and songwriter who scored a Top 10 hit in her homeland with her debut single, "Taken For Granted". Pairing her unique Australian drawl with the strident strings from Prokofiev's Romeo & Juliet, the track was championed by Trevor Nelson and had Sia performing live on Jo Whiley's Radio 1 show. Her debut album, Healing Is Difficult, garnered critical praise. She added her jazzy slurs to two tracks on Zero 7's Simple Things album, and has worked with Beck.

Her second release, Colour the Small One, came out in 2004.

Her most well known amazing and precious track, Breathe Me, appeared on the series finale of HBO's master piece and delicate Six Feet Under in 2005 during the final scenes. It can be found on the Six Feet Under soundtrack: Six Feet Under: Everything Ends.
