Biography

Danish newcomers Sensuous were off to a head start, turning what was supposedly a demo, into a genuine radio hit.
In early 2002 the ballad “Wonderful Times” entered highly acclaimed Danish music magazine “GAFFA”s online chart at .. 1, staying in top 2 for 10 weeks. The song became a big hit on the Danish national radio, maintaining high rotation for an amazing 18 months. In consequence sensuous performed on the national TV show “Good Morning Denmark”, still unsigned.

This lead to a two single record/publishing deal with Iceberg Records, officially releasing the song and new single “Don’t Go”.
Maintaining close relations with publisher/manager Manfred Zähringer, Sensuous started to produce their debut album “Wide Awake in Copenhagen”.

First single “Sunshine Baby” again was very well received and the band was invited to perform acoustic on the national radio. The song also got featured in a Portuguese TV series and has recently (November 2005) been covered by Hong Kong Superstar Andy Hui, released as his new single of his Greatest Hits album.

In 2005 Samsung Mobil needed a great song for the worldwide release of their new top model. “Sunshine Baby” was their pick.
Since January 2005, the song has been pre-loaded as mp3 on the awarded “Mobile Handset of the Year”, Samsung SGH-D500.

Thrilled with the Danish band, Samsung once again made use of ”SunshineBaby” in the launching of their new music telephone SGH-E720. This time taking it to the next level. - Not only is the song pre-loaded on the phone, but Sensuous are also featured on Samsung’s international websites with streamed audio and photo.
