Written by Bob Stanley, Pete Wiggs & Ian Catt
Produced by Saint Etienne

Released December 1993 on I Was Born on Christmas Day.

Notes Features guest vocalist, Tim Burgess, of The Charlatans. Bandmember, Bob Stanley, was actually born on Christmas Day. It was the band's first attempt at writing a Christmas song and they had high hopes for the song, however, the single stalled at a disappointing #37 in the UK Singles Chart. The Christmas number 1 that year was, rather tragically, Mr. Blobby. Bob Stanley once explained that they were lines from letters being sent between an imagined girl and boy: “One of the characters is working at Euro Disney to get some money for presents and his girlfriend is in England, pining for his return.”
