Rosie and The Thorns is: Rosie Sutherland (Songwriter, Vocals, Guitars), Adam Barnett (Bass), Dan Power (Guitars, Drums) and Leah Elliott (Backing Vox). They have been playing the east coast of Australia since 2006 and took the name Rosie and The Thorns in 2008. R&TT have recorded an album with Mick Wordley (Mixmasters, Adelaide - Jeff Lang, The Yearlings) released in October 2009. Their melodic pop-folk-rock sound has been compared variously to Cat Power, Fleetwood Mac and Crowded House.
