Rorschach were a New Jersey-based hardcore band that existed from May of 1989 to August of 1993. Their first show was in August of 1989 at the Pipeline in New Jersey with Chain of Strength, Insight, Turning Point and Poor Excuse. 25 People attended that show. 247 shows, 3 tours and 31 songs later, Rorschach played their last show on July 31, 1993 in the basement of Mama Joe's Pizza in Kent Ohio with Spork and Splinter. 20 people attended this show. Rorschach was Charles Maggio on vocals (who also runs the record label Gern Blandsten),Andrew Gormley on drums, Nick Forte on guitar, Kieth Huckins on guitar, Chris Laucella on bass and later Tom Rusnak to fill in for him.
they were also a bristol based band of the late eighties who released two eps, the twin busted fliper ep & the killer nosedive ep. they changed their name to critical mass & then to santa cruz before splitting up. possibly their most unusual gig was at the ashton court festival on an unofficial stage with a sofa in front of it, during the concert the lead singer interviewed members of the crowd whilst sat on the sofa.
