The band, consisting of longtime friends Mitch Cutts, Nic Haughn, Jakob Ervin, and formerly Ryan Lavallee and Dylan Schneider, later relocated to a home studio in Bozeman, Montana. Their journey began informally in 2015 when Nic and Mitch, who played a lot of Guitar Hero, decided to learn real instruments and form the band.
