The band První Hoře (The First Sorrow) continues the tradition of Czech alternative music of the 1990s. With its inexhaustible energy, rough guitars, electronic samples and wild rhythms, however, it finds new, up-to-date ways of this musical style.
První Hoře has been around since 1998 and released six albums since then. The first album Na Úpatí (At the Foot of the Mountain) was released in 2003, but it is only the next album Commedia dell´arte that shows fully what a remarkable and promising ensemble they are. The fans of progressive and unusual music should not miss them.
