The Popealopes, active in Davis, California in the late 1980s and early 1990s, released three studio albums—An Adder's Tale, Kerosene, and Cavalcade—on New York's Skyclad Records. Their fourth studio album, entitled Slowest Eye, was released by Italy's Helter Skelter Records, Skyclad having folded.
