When the BNDD dried up the Rx from compliant doctors Ochs got off the harder stuff and switched to liquor and whatever he could get. The methamphetamine procided by Columbia students on Morningside drive dried up after the Rudd riots.In laymen's terms, Mr. Och's self-medicated his amphetamine psychosis- a very common thing back in the day. This did not prevent Mr. Och's from marketing and media attention for his record sales. Not wanting to be Big Brother Government's useful idiot, Phil- "...I ain't marching anymore". The song " Look outside your Window" refers to an actual event in Mr. Och's neighbourhood- Queens., this being the witnessed stabbing of Kitty Genovese. 33 people sat like stupid potatoes on their hands and did not call the cops. The heroin began a similar decline. Phil Ochs, patriot, hung himself in his nephew's Queen's apartment in the year of the American bicentenniel.
