I've seen it showed greyed out which means it's available in at least one region. Can confirm not available in Australia.

А я как в интернете, в 2007, прочитал, что правильно по-немецки Пауль Фан Дюк, а он немец - так и читаю.

As for me progressive trance desperately stuck in 2007. There are no fresh sounds and ideas on new albums.

How good is "Out There And Back"? It's the kind of album that never gets old. And it excels not just in the quality of the individual tracks, which refuses trends in a way that managed to make them timeless, but also in the seamless transitions (the way Vega drops into Pikes is brilliant) and flow through the album (how one track leads to another in a seamless journey). These are all elements that are very rare to see nowadays in electronic music in general, let alone in what is called "trance" these days (which we all know it's a huge departure from what the genre always stood for).

What an amazing new album, thank you Sir van Dyk for keeping the spirit of trance alive <3

@georgieMT82 - yeah, after some time of searching I can say you might be right. Of course I will stay with view that not everything in scene is dead; we have always underground/not-well known new projects playing trance. But well, I couldn't find anything interesting made in latest years, except only some songs. (ATB' "Contact" song, for example) And if I can ask.. anyone know something from trance which follows old-school way? It may be garage project or anything, but it will be nice to have alternative to Sequential One or Van Buuren.

@Toma400 - the scene is dead not only (but mainly) just because the biggest names went pop. It is dead because this style is depleted of good ideas and melodies. There is nothing interesting even in uplifting trance anymore... they simply lost the "uplift"... generally

@georgieMT82 - I understand your point, 'cos you are quite right, but it is not the absolute truth - first, not every single popular trance musician went pop (Eyris_ comment about "Politics of Dancing 3") and second - if well known trance producents went pop, it doesn't mean scene is dead. Like goth music with their "goth" Marilyn Manson or Motionless in White - no scene is dead just because of fake trends of well known representatives.

..and lol, Paul van Dyk is very humble person. He talked about the album "In Between" as his first non trance album with pop sound. After all, "In Between" is undeniably awesome trance album, lol.

I really don't think that "Heart Like An Ocean" and other great tracks from his last album sounds like bigroom house...

Trance Music is DEAD, DEAD, DEAD, deader than the doornail... And exactly these biggest names like Paul van Dyk, Tiesto or Armin van Buuren have killed it! The sounds and beats of current trance are unbearable and unimpressive, it is nothing more than commercial house! I am done with this kind of music!!!
