“Broken Home” is the second single from Californian rock band Papa Roach’s second album, Infest, and second released single in total. While “Broken Home” was a critical and financial success it did not garner the same attention their previous debut single “Last Resort” did. This song is intensely personal for the band (and used to be even more so); ¾ of the original members of the band came from broken homes. Marcos Siega (the director of the music video) said the song is “about a broken home and being torn between your parents”.

Papa Roach is an American rock band from Vacaville, California, formed in 1993. The original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Jacoby Shaddix, guitarist Jerry Horton, drummer Dave Buckner, bassist Will James, and trombonist Ben Luther. After two EPs, James left and was replaced by Tobin Esperance.
