Paolo Bolognesi has no need for nicknames nor presentations. He’s unmistakably a Dj, as everyone can realize clearly when he’s talking about good songs, grooves and musical passions that comes straight from the hearth.
Paolo was born in Rome, and from the middle of the eighties is a part of the disco, the clubs and Italy’s radio world. He began his career in a small radio network. Then, many years later, his hard work, awards and his many collaborations led to a turning point.
By 2002 everything suddenly changed around him: he had a key role in the founding process of the m2o radio station, beside being an active part in the development of its brand. Since the beginnings of this adventure he’s the name behind Stardust, his definitive consecration.
Night after night Stardust becomes his greeting ticket: a radio show totally devoted to club music that’s also the key to get in the club culture Olympus. A wise blending of minimal, ferrous house music doses and rich amounts of electro are his daily fuel.
Energy that’s needed to oversee his latest radio shows on m2o: from Unique to Stardust in Love, from In da House to m2o Diabolika. He’s always seeking the most unbiased sonorities, getting into the new trends, to fashion sound, always keeping in sight his love for fun and his smile.
By this spirit, by instinct, came many of his productions: "Oh My god" (for Fahrenheit), "Noo", "One Two Tre Four" and "The Bird"; the remix for "I Will Entertain You" for Andrea Rango and The Drill remix.
And again the one for 4tune 500 and his Strung Out, Feel Alright for Manu L.j., Sound Is Back for P.DJ feat Lizzy B and One Rule The Shadow, Bolsky fly away/come back..
And the remixes for compilations: In Da House, Club Area, Club Area 2 and countless more.
The love for what he does is the product of two decades spent mixing in italy’s finest clubs. If you’re looking for him, you can find him at Energy, in Ciampino, mixing at Diabolika House Party. Resident, with his vnyls and credibility.
