Pamela Andrews (B.Mus. (Hons), A.Mus.A, Dip.Mus.) was born and raised in Launceston, Tasmania, and commenced classical vocal study under Sharyn Martin in 2002. Pamela completed a Diploma of Music in 2004, an Associate of Music diploma (AMEB) in 2006, a Bachelor of Music in 2007, and a Bachelor of Music with Honours in 2008, all of which were completed studying under Marilyn Smith at the University of Tasmania Conservatorium of Music.
