During the summer of 2018 on the outskirts of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, an epic event took place. Pale Graves locked himself in his garage for 8 weeks to produce the debut album “Pale Graves”. It conjures mysterious, lo-fi, surfy, dusty old records, loops, drones, fuzz, 60s and 70s grindhouse soundtracks, garage, psychedelia and drippy reverb. Armed with an arsenal of old guitars and effects, cheap vintage organs, tape hiss, mechanical noise and sonic meditation, the sounds came together like a symphony of psychedelic chaos.
