At any rate, if this version had come out before the original it would have been more widely accepted. I mean think of all the crack that was flying around in the 80's. If Phil Collins version was accepted, this was a shoe in.
Would've been 10x better if it was chill & slow at first...the fact that there is no build up and it goes almost straight into the epic parts takes away from the...well, the epicness, frankly. I still like it, not bad....could've been truly great.
Do a revision, yo.
Whether you like Phil Collins or not, the song is a classic. The cover was well done because it allowed Nonpoint to put their own twist on it without taking anything away from the original. I think a well done cover pays homage to the original musician and can introduce a new generation to someone they may not have heard before.
not a fan of this song. Nonpoint is a great workout band(sorry for pigeon holding) and if one was interested in finding out what they do best, check out the album "To The Pain". You'll finds a way to get pumped up, great aggressive music for anyone looking to pump some iron
