Biography

Noam Halby (born 7 December 1971 Nørrebro, Denmark) is a Danish singer and musician who is best known for being the lead singer of pop band Johnny Deluxe.

Halby has been playing music since he was 6-year-old beat a drum of his cousin. As a child he attended church Såby school. He formed in 2000 the band Johnny Deluxe in London along with bassist James S. Glæsner and guitarist Soren Itenov. In 2002, the drummer Morten Lynggaard the band.

In April 2009 Noam sang the song "Hvis du gir lidt af dig" with Nina Forsberg to DR P4 and the Danish Society for Nature Conservation campaign for waste problems in Danish forests.

Noam Halby participated in autumn 2009 in Dancing with the Stars, where he ended up in 7th place, along with dance partner Katrine Bonde. The two also formed few private from December 2009 to March 2010 and later again from June 2010.

Noam Halby was the composer of the song "Gloria" as Faroese Jens Marni appeared with the Danish Melodi Grand Prix 2010
