The in 1982 born Nathalie Makoma is the lead singer of the group "Makoma". She's born in Libreville, Gabon but has been living in The Netherlands since she is 3 months. She also went solo with her first album "On Faith" (2002) - which she re-released as "GoGospel Edition" (2003). She released a second album called "I Saw the Light" in 2005.
In 2002 she received an African Music Award for 'Best New Act'.
In 2008 she competed on the fourth season of Idols (Dutch version of Pop Idol). An early favorite, she lost to Nikki Kerkhof in the finale after receiving only 38% of the votes.
In 2012 Nathalie has taken on a new manager, Lord Paul Johnson. Lord Johnson has worked in music for many years. He will be working to bring Nathalie to world fame.
