(1.) NAMO is a collaborative pop project started by Asher Peterson of Nashville, TN. The music is written and produced by Asher, and the many different artists collaborate on lyrics are featured on each track. They released their debut EP "Rain" in 2018. After growing and learning through that process, Asher decided to add more collaborators and take the next step to record a full-length studio record. He released the self titled "NAMO" in 2020. The vibe of this record is a blend of lush synths, layered vocals, live and programmed percussion, textured guitars/pianos, and organic/experimental sounds.
(2.) Namo, a regular at Long Beach's premiere monthly downtempo, hip hop, acid jazz and trip hop spot, The Downbeat Lounge, released his extra long EP "The Beat Book" in 2008. Based on what he spins live, it was only natural the album was full of deep, down-tempo heavy instrumentals, the kind you might need to pop a painkiller to enjoy. Beautiful, jazzy and dreamy, instantly head-nod worthy, extra slow break-beat with lots of pianos and horns…

Continuing on the "beat"-en path… Namo completed his 2nd beat CD titled: "Shallow-EP", which was also released on independent label Datura in 2009. 10 tracks long, this instrumental EP contains a mixture of jazz, hip hop, downtempo and experimental sounds that have been molded together for your listening enjoyment…
