Nagham Masry نَغَم مصري is an Egyptian group that stitches together disparate musical elements of Egyptian and Western popular music with traditional Oriental melodies. The Nagham Masry project was formed by vocalist Sherbini شربيني and guitarist Ousso in 2000. Their first gig was in "Beit El Harrawy" (بيت الهراوي) and was a collaboration of Sherbini's melodies and singing , Ousso's music, and the lyrics of Salah Jahin (صلاح جاهين), Ahmed Fou'aad Negm (أحمد فؤاد نجم), Amal Donkol, as well as of many other famous poets and writers.
