Nitrous O is one of the several aliases of Tupper Lake, New York, musician Noah King (b. 1998), best known for his experimental and atonal take on electronic music.
King's music under this name typically utilises vintage, analogue synthesisers and frantic drum machine grooves to create a harsh, cacophonous atmosphere.
Until 2020, releases under this name were few and far between until King experienced an erratic wave of inspiration resulting in the release of five albums in one year. These releases are widely considered to be his best, both critically and commercially.
