All Muse fans, this is the US band that was originally called Muse, before selling their name… Arcana is the 1997 debut album from that band. Originally started as teens, the guys in Muse began in Miami Beach, Florida and quickly signed a lucrative contract with Atlantic Records. After moving to Atlanta and a year of touring with the likes of Porno for Pyros, Collective Soul and The Cure, the band took an extended break after their drummer left to become a DJ in NY. During this time, they were approached by a UK firm wanting to buy the name MUSE (to be used by the band from England). After struggling through most of the 2000's to finish a followup to Arcana and shuffling through different band names, they hit on creative inspiration with the name PEOPLE FROM VENUS.
Songs quickly started coming with a new drummer and a sense of purpose, People from Venus started recording the long awaited full length follow up to Arcana. The new album, Toot, Toot, Yeah will be released on March 2, 2010 with a tour to follow. Lovers of Muse, love you too!!!
