A storyboard, drawn by a bitch called music-circus
In 2001 two youngsters, Zack & Linc, had this idea of a band never giving in about some stupid trend just following their own intension & create music they´d like to hear from their favourite bands through years, but none ever satisfied them. Two years later in early 2003 the band has been completed with eight members sharing the same opinion about music and it´s individuality. Members who just care about music itself and don´t think in categories.
At this point MUECA became an eight headed monster including two singers (Jones & Linc), two guitar-players (Zack & Thees), one bassist (Marc), a drummer (Mutter), a DJ (Freeze) and a percussionist (8.0).
In may 2003 they put their self-produced debut "the Diary of Science and Sickness" on the market. A record that´s using and abusing all kinds of music ever been there: Samplings, heavy drumming, metal-guitars, as well as hardcore-hooks, acoustic ballades, screams and raps besides opera-singing.
After two years playing all around the country, having radio airplay of some underground stations, shooting two videos, their percussionist got kicked outta the band and they got a new bass-player replacing Marc, his name is Micha. Working hard on their skills, observing crowd´s moves in certain parts, they started recording their next sell-out, untitled, yet. This year in summer 2006 they will throw out their new work still showing they don´t give a flying fuck about the whole music-circus, putting cross-core back on the map to be the alternative to the alternative!! Watch out for them and see them live to understand what this band is all about and why there will be a time when they gonna open up some people´s eyes, as they have already done in some areas, that music is more about than just clothes and coolness, it´s about emotions and staying true to yourself.
