Mourning Leaves are a four-piece on a journey through dark landscapes of lust and melancholy. Half male, half female, the longing to strike strings of thought and feeling to provoke, in equal amounts, action and apathy are felt through the band
Mourning Leaves lyricist and songwriter, Sondre Tristan Midttun, has for long time been a mainstay in Serena-Maneesh, but has now left that band to pursue his own musical vision. He was also once a member of indie-popsters Pooh the Pendrulian.
Svein Sander, the drummer, was once a member of dark metallers Antestor and goth-favorites The Crest.
