The gritty/sleazy vibe of their records up to "Sex With God" is thrilling. "Urban decay" sort of stuff. Red light districts, cheap seedy motels, neon lights that say you will die tonight, satanic porno cult shops, gloryholes in the toilets of grim & frostbitten gay bars, peep shows for soft cock wankers and so on. Matches perfectly with the atmosphere of movies like "Cruising", "Taxi Driver", Paul Schrader's "Hardcore", etc.

man does this bug me: THE ORIGINAL ARTIST USING THE NAME, MINIMAL MAN WAS PATRICK MILLER, WHO FORMED THE GROUP IN SAN FRANCISCO IN 1979, DISBANDING IN 1989(?). **PATRICK MILLER'S MINIMAL MAN NEVER RECORDED ANY SONGS HAVING ANYTHING TO DO WITH CHICKEN!! I'M NOT SURE HOW IT IS THAT ANOTHER MUSIC ARTIST (MINIMAL MAN FROM THE UK) CAN LATER JUST GO AHEAD AND RELEASE SHIT USING SOMEONE ELSES NAME.
