Mimi Blais is a classically trained pianist who's obsession for ragtime music started in 1900 when she played the "Maple Leaf Rag" for a crowd at the Scott Joplin International Ragtime Festival in Sedalia, MO. That same day, she was given the name "Queen of Ragtime". She is now traveling the world sharing her love for ragtime music.
