He met producer John McGeoch while working in London, and in 1983 they made the album "Snälltåg till himlen", or Fast Train to Heaven. The album features an 18 year old singer called Idde Schultz, now far more known in sweden than the lead artist. The album is largely made up of new wave versions of what is basically evergreens, 30s cabaret songs, and pianobar staples.
