Long time collaborators Travis Scott and Young Thug link up once again over a star-studded production line up.
While an unfinished demo of the song leaked in 2015 under the title “Drown,” the song did not see an official release until finding its place three years later on NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES. Another demo of the song leaked in 2019, titled “Act.” That demo is an even earlier version than the one titled “Drown,” as “Act” features Travis Scott singing and mumbling melodies throughout the song, trying to figure out what sounds good. The melodies Travis sang on said demo were interpolated in Young Thug’s chorus for the song.
On the track, Young Thug waxes lyrical over familiar topics, covering drug use and promiscuous sex, while Travis echoes these sentiments intermittently throughout the track.
