Note: Animal Collective and Grizzly Bear are both omitted bc i don't think they're as epic as everyone is making them out to be,...as well as lacking a high 'songs i like:songs i could do without' ratio. Besides Brother Sport and Two Weeks (which would prob both be in my top 10 songs of 2009), i really wasn't all that impressed. Or maybe it's just Angelina Jolie syndrome..

Also, this list only includes LPs.. if it were to include EPs, Modest Mouse & Bon Iver would def be included in the top 10.
