@ericfg: Meh. Just because this was influential doesn't mean a person have to praise it. Respect is one thing - that much is given, and certainly I too appreciate its influence - but no way in hell are you required to act like this is the best shit you've ever heard, and the best thing black metal-related in existence, just because it helped create that genre. THAT's a poser's mindset, as far as I am concerned. Listen to it only if you like what you hear, and praise it accordingly. That said, I fucking love this shit, and not because I'm meant to, but because I fucking love this shit.
